Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her husband – football quarterback Tom Brady – filed for divorce in court in the US on October 28.

Bundchen met Brady in 2006, after she broke up with actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

They got married in early 2009, holding an American and Costa Rican wedding ceremony after a month of engagement.

In June 2009, the couple revealed they were pregnant with their first baby.

In mid-2015, many international news sites reported that the star couple was about to break up.

During their nine-year marriage anniversary in 2018, Bundchen shared photos from their wedding for the first time.

In 2020, Brady admitted for the first time that his family was going through a difficult time when his wife blamed him for spending too little time with his children.

In February, Brady announced his retirement because he did not want his wife to worry and promised to fulfill his duties as a husband and father.

At the end of September, Brady asked to be absent from the team for 11 days to deal with personal matters.

In early October, a close source said that the couple had hired a lawyer to prepare for divorce.

Gisele Bundchen was born on July 20, 1980, from Três de Maio, Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil).

Tom Brady, 43 years old, is considered the greatest player in the history of the American football league (NFL).
