`100 more beds will be prepared and available within the next 12 hours,` Mr. Thuong affirmed.
According to Mr. Thuong, the Covid-19 situation in the world and neighboring countries such as Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand is very complicated.

The Central Tropical Diseases Hospital is the front line for treating Covid-19 patients, participating in the war since the beginning of the epidemic in 2020 until now.
On May 4, after a doctor on business trip abroad tested positive, the Central Tropical Diseases Hospital conducted screening tests and recorded 22 cases of infection in the past two days, including one doctor and one nurse.
The Central Tropical Diseases Hospital is under medical quarantine from May 5 to May 19, stopping accepting patients except Covid-19 patients.
