North America’s most popular movie chart experienced a dull week with only one new work reaching the Top 10, Hot Pursuit.

The top spot still belongs to the blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron with 77.2 million USD in ticket revenue.

`Avengers: Age of Ultron` is on track to become the biggest hit of the year.

In its second week of release in US theaters, the attraction of Avengers: Age of Ultron dropped significantly as it earned about 77 million USD in ticket revenue, down nearly 60% compared to the previous week.

On a global scale, Avengers: Age of Ultron also ranks behind Fast & Furious 7. The film’s revenue promises to increase in the near future when the film is released in two major markets, China and Japan.

Second on the chart is the action-comedy film Hot Pursuit, starring two actresses – Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara.

The majority of moviegoers who went to theaters to enjoy Hot Pursuit were female and over the age of 25. This audience helped the movie reach 13.3 million USD in ticket revenue.

The remaining popular films in the Top 10 are The Age of Adaline, Fast & Furious 7, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Ex Machina, Home, Woman in Gold, Cinderella and Unfriended.

Next week’s rankings will have some changes in the top group when two movies receiving a lot of attention, Mad Max: Fury Road and Pitch Perfect 2, will be released this weekend.
