Once the quarantine period ends, officials will fly evacuees to Los Angeles international airport so they can fly home and get back to life.
`As long as I’m happy talking to my family, they’re happy too,` Evans said.
The nCoV pneumonia epidemic was first recorded in early December 2019 and has spread to 26 countries and territories, causing many governments to evacuate citizens.
`It’s still a ghost town,` he said.
Evans spoke to friends still in Wuhan, who said everyone is trying to be civilized during the quarantine.
Compared to staying at the epicenter of the epidemic, a few days of quarantine at the base in Southern California seemed like a cheap price for Evans and everyone to exchange for safety and health.
