DKRA Company has just published a survey of the real estate market in the East of Ho Chi Minh City along with land price developments over the past 10 years.
Land in Thanh My Loi area ten years ago was priced at 6-13 million VND per m2, but now it has reached 25-80 million VND per m2.
Not only District 2 has increased prices, land prices in District 9 have also fluctuated strongly and escalated over the past decade.
Land prices in the East of Ho Chi Minh City have fluctuated strongly in the past 10 years, from the end of 2006 to the first quarter of 2017.
According to this unit’s chart of land price developments in District 9, over the past 10 years, land prices here have fluctuated quite high, from 3-6 million VND per m2 in 2006 and now reaching 18,000 VND per square meter.
DKRA assesses that the reason land prices in districts 2 and 9 have increased dramatically in the past 10 years is thanks to infrastructure.
Thanks to benefiting from this infrastructure, District 2 becomes a major communication center of Ho Chi Minh City while District 9, located adjacent to District 2, also enjoys strong resonance.
According to forecasts of many real estate experts, it is not unusual for land prices to increase sharply over a long period of 10 years.
