The North Korean Navy is one of the forces with the most submarines in the world.

Pyongyang’s surface ships are mainly small patrol gunboats.

Pyongyang possesses many types of short- and medium-range ballistic missiles such as Hwasong and Rodong, along with experimental intercontinental ballistic missiles such as Taepodong-2 and KN-08 with a range of over 10,000 km.
