There are shortcomings in general education that, in my opinion, need to be changed.

In practice, I see many students who have graduated from high school. Even though they have learned a lot about functions, they do not know what a function is, and do not know where the delta in the formula for the solution of a quadratic equation with an unknown comes from.

– Inability to respond:

They have too little time to debate and participate in extracurricular activities in class, so their critical thinking ability is very poor.

– Weak morality: forgetting roots, not knowing superior and inferior, lacking self-esteem (because students have to follow the program, cheating occurs, teachers chase results, causing negativity).

These problems are largely caused by education.

1. Ability to think.

2. Ability to express to others, ability to criticize.

3. Know self-respect, know one’s roots, and respect superiors and subordinates.

From those goals, I think that general education needs to change the following points:

– Reduce the curriculum by nearly half, leaving time for debate and extracurriculars.

– Do not use spiral programs.

– Go deep into the origin of each lesson.

– No graduation exam required.

By doing so, students will access specialized fields of study more easily, or at least they will live more deeply, have good critical thinking ability, reduce work risks, and have good ethics.

Talking more about education, why do we have to have many hours of discussion?

– From the discussion hours, the students were able to express their thoughts, gradually becoming a habit and knowing how to protect their words in the future.

– Thanks to regular discussions, students think deeply to defend their statements

– The habit of critical reflection is very necessary in life: When making a decision, you will consider opposite cases, bad cases that may occur, and from there, adjustments will be more accurate.

In developed countries, in meetings, people criticize very enthusiastically, so that when they go to work, they just do it, without having to argue too much.
