Having worked as a consultant at many international organizations such as IFC, Deloitte Consulting, SNV, GIZ…, I have had many opportunities to learn experience in developing renewable energy investment projects in Vietnam.

Is it unusual for someone over 40 years old like me to return to the classroom after 15 years?

From my story, I think that people over 40 years old can absolutely study in Canada and after completing their studies, apply for Express Entry.

The reason is that my profile records a history of changing jobs in nearly a dozen companies. My wife works in the tourism industry and has a history of traveling to nearly 30 countries, so the verification time is relatively long.

You have two provincial options that will determine your federal filing path.

The second is Express Entry from provincial to federal.

I submitted my application for expedited review to BC.

I have guided two families this way with initial success.

This way of settling takes brainpower, requires hard work and perseverance, but in return has the advantage of integration and high employability upon graduation.

So what is the biggest challenge of this study abroad path?

I researched and made all the admission documents myself as well as all open work permit, visitor record and study permit documents for family members while in Vietnam.
