The press conference announcing the second season of The Face took place on the morning of May 23 in Ho Chi Minh City.

At 11:15, when the press conference started, Minh Tu appeared.

Minh Tu apologizes for being late.

`If I wanted to create a trick, I could wear a hospital gown and bare face to gain more sympathy. But doing so would be disrespectful to the guests and the other two coaches. I was at fault so I have no excuses.`

However, many people present at the press conference were still dissatisfied with having to wait so long.

Coach Lan Khue continued to explain: `I, Hoang Thuy and Minh Tu, were told to be here at 10:30 a.m., not 9:30 a.m. I arrived a little late but it was almost 11 a.m., followed by the other two.

To lighten the mood, MC Anh Quan added that the coaches finished recording the new episode at 3-4 a.m. this morning, so they had a little time to rest, change costumes and put on makeup.

A representative of the organizing committee explained that the event was supposed to take place in the afternoon, but the Thai coach had to fly back home at noon on the same day, so the meeting was moved earlier.

Coach Lukkade Metineee said that in Thailand, being late to press conferences often happens.

The Face is a reality TV show that searches for faces to become brand representatives and ambassadors.

This year, the competition had the appearance of Thai coach Lukkade Metineee as a guest.
