On May 7, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice President of Quang Ninh province, decided to restart 14 Covid-19 quarantine checkpoints at the gateway connecting Quang Ninh with Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Lang Son and Bac Giang from 0:00 a.m.

The checkpoints are located at station Km15, National Highway 18, Mong Cai City;

Dong Trieu town alone established 8 checkpoints in areas bordering Chi Linh city, Kinh Mon town of Hai Duong province and Thuy Nguyen district of Hai Phong.

Passengers must present identification documents and electronic health declaration.

Quang Ninh province also temporarily suspended passenger transport activities by waterway and cross-river passenger wharf between Quang Ninh province and other provinces;

For inter-provincial public passenger transport, the province implements spacing of vehicles with 35 seats or more, only carrying a maximum of 20 passengers at a time.

During previous epidemic waves, Quang Ninh set up 14 Covid-19 control points at the gateway connecting Quang Ninh with Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Lang Son and Bac Giang.

Medical checkpoints have been strengthened on National Highway 1A.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue province, decided that eateries and restaurants on National Highway 1A passing through the province must stop operating from May 7.
